I was offered an update to Firefox today but declined it because the shoutbox looked to be filling up with comments about a problem a couple of people had posting replies after doing the update. I don't know the details but it is likely that those that do will have difficulty posting here so I'll start the thread.

That is a very very strange problem. I have no idea what's causing it. I would advise you to turn off WYSIWYG. Thats the only reason I can think of that it wouldn't work.

Go to My Controls -> Board Settings. Then change the last option on the page to standard editor. Otherwise, switch to google chrome. google it for a download link. It's free (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

This is the post I meant - just bringing it back into new post lists because it seems to possibly be a problem again. Roxswood can't post today.

Argh now I'm having the same problem - randomly! Can't post a new topic now but if I start one and then quick edit it it seems to work! Can also only quick reply. Haven't updated firefox since around the time others were having problems, but am only having problems now?!

I did yes, thank you for asking. I changed to standard editor and it has been fine since. No idea why it went funny when I hadn't updated yet though.
