400g/14oz pasta shells, bows or whatever really!
225g/8oz broccoli (I just use one head)
1tbsp olive oil
2tbsp butter
1 leek - finely chopped
200g tub garlic and herb cream cheese
6 tbsp whole milk
100g/3oz smoked salmon pieces (offcuts/trimmings are ideal)
Salt (or not!) & black pepper
Cook pasta as usual & drain.
Meanwhile steam broccoli until tender
At the same time heat oil & butter in small havey based frying pan, then add leek and sauté for 7 mins or until softened. Gently stir in cream cheese and milk and heat through.
Add the smoked salmon and cook for a minute or so until opaque. Mix pasta, broccoli & sauce well and season.
